Theresa Marie Franklin

Theresa "Lukie" Franklin, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. Theresa was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed watching tv shows and playing games.

She was born on July 20, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Mary (Soeder) Shelton. She is preceded in death by her Father, William E. Shelton, Sr. and Mother, Mary D. Shelton.

Theresa is survived by her loving Husband of 16 years, Michael G. Franklin; Children, Amanda N. Walker and James W. "Mikey" Hunt; Grandchildren, Delaney S. Walker, Kenadie R. Walker, and Presley F. Walker; Brother, William E. "Petey" Shelton, Jr.; Sister, Tonya M. (James) Bishop; Nephew, Eric W. Shelton, as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
