Theodore H. Winebrenner, Jr., 80, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2013. He retired from America Cellophone and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Ted was a member of the VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693, the Marine Corp League, and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Ted was born on February 14, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Theodore H., Sr. and Margaret (Maples) Winebrenner. He was also preceded in death by his step-daughter, Susan Freeman, and sister, Dot Boarders.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rosalyn I. Freeman Winebrenner; step-children, Brenda Smith (Kenneth), Joyce McCulloch (Sammy), LouAnn Bland (Doug);7 grandchildren, 12great-grandchildren, and 5 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church (415 E 8th Street, New Albany) with burial and military honors to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
