Thella Sherrow

Thella Sherrow, age 84 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014. Originally from Brownsville, Kentucky she was born to the late James Eddie and Myrtie Johnson Vincent. She was formerly employed with Continental Can in Cincinnati, Ohio where she retired. She was a part-time employee with Krogers and was affectionately known as "the Cookie Lady". She was a loving and devoted mother, who loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her 11 siblings, which she is the last of 12.

Thella is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Lawrence Sheehan; niece, Sharon Cooke; nephews, Robert A. Houchin (Cindy), Skip, Carl and Don Frey; sister-in-law, Wanda Vincent. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of Thella's life will be 2:30pm Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation from noon until time of service.
