Thea Maria Harp-Moore, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. She was a member of the National Association for Mentally Ill, the American Psychological Association, and the Pinnacle National Honor Society.
She was born on May 10, 1957, to Charles and Myrtis (Eaton) Harp. In addition to her parents, Thea was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Harmon.
Thea is survived by her children, Sam Harp (Lea Anne), Major Erinn Harp (Amber), and Mallory Meadows (James); siblings, James Harp and C. Patricia Harp-Spencer; grandchildren, Sam, Charlie, Ryan, Christian, Bradley, Aiden, and Adrianna Harp, and Zenaida, Asher, and Jasper Meadows; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Thea's wish was to be cremated, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
