Terry W. "Southern Comfort" Reeves, 52, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home after a four and a half year battle with cancer. He was a 35 year truck driver that always said, "I've backed up more times than most of the population has gone forward."
He loved riding his motorcycle and was very active in various charities for cancer. On multiple occasions he grew out and donated his hair to the "Locks and Love' organization. Terry was funny, loving, loved his Southern Rock, and lived to take care of the love of his life and wife of 16 years, Sharon (Byers) Reeves.
Terry was born on December 23, 1960 in Panama City, Florida to the late Wayne Reeves and Patricia (Khline) Neal. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Jerry Neal, Sr.; grandmothers, Bonnie Scott and Earl Dean Patterson; and his "fur children," Holly Jocelyn and Hollyday Candi.
Along with his wife he is survived by his fur kid, Lucy Lou; brother, Stanley Neal (Wanda), sister, Pamela Mitchell (Bobby); niece, Jovan; great-nieces and nephew Torry, Katy, and Camy.
Cremation was chosen with no services following Terry's wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
