Terry L. Corbin, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
He was born on August 1, 1949 in Louisville , Kentucky to the late Chester and Ola (Davis) Corbin. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve M. Corbin.
Terry proudly served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps; being awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Over the years he enjoyed antique collecting. Terry was a private person but for those who were close to him, they knew a man that had a big heart, a caring soul and a great sense of humor.
Terry is survived by his loving family, his brother, Dennis Corbin; nieces and nephews, Sonya, Chris, Andrew, Elizabeth, Steven, Crystal and Richard.
Eleven great nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews; along with sisters in-law, Janna Corbin and Wanda Corbin. Terry also leaves to cherish his memory, many special friends over the years, including those he met through the Peddlers Mall.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Nords Bakery Family, the caring staff at the VA Hospital and VA Newburg Clinic as well as Jenny Hart for the love and support throughout the years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
