Terry B. Lowery

Terry B. Lowery, 71, loving husband and father, formerly of Columbus, OH, of Crandall, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Terry loved the outdoors, his career, and co-workers at Abbott Laboratories. In his younger years, Terry participated in the rodeo in Oklahoma. The most important thing in Terry's life was his family and the time they spent together.

Terry was born on August 8, 1940 to the late James and Ruby (Vandergriffe) Lowery. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thurman Lowery, Betty Lowery, Barbara Dean, and Linda Lowery.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 24 years, Carolyn K. (Chevalier) Lowery; children, Vance Lowery, Mike Dobenspeck, Brian Allen Lynch, Sherri Lynch, Debra Lynch-Thurman; grandchildren, Krista, Brianna, Christian, Brandon, Michala Lynch, Courtney and Tyler Lulek; and great-grandson, Jordan Lynch.

Cremation was chosen following Terry's wishes and burial will take place in Galloplis, OH at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
