Terri Lynn Ashby

Terri Lynn Ashby, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. Terri was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and the rock of the family. She was strong and fought a long hard battle with medical issues, but always persevered without a complaint. She loved working on her food truck "Hot Diggity Dog & Friends". Terri will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on July 16, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky to Terry and Deborah (Powell) Cain. She is preceded in death by her father, Terry Cain; grandparents, Leo and Thelma Cain; and grandfather, Tommy Powell.

Terri is survived by her loving family, husband, Wayne Ashby; sons, TC Wyatt, Nicholas Cain, Austin Smiddy; mother, Deborah Cain; step-children, Wayne R. (Christy) Ashby, Jr., Trina (Dave) Bell; sister, Kimberly (Shawn Rich) Cain; nephew, Brad Massie; niece, Presley Cain; 5 grandchildren; as well as a host of many cousins, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of life will be at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
