Terrence Lee Johnson

December 10, 1945 — June 9, 2018

Terrence Lee "Terry" Johnson, age 72 of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born December 10, 1945 in Pipestone, MN to Ervin and Arlene (Conrad) Johnson. He was raised on a farm in Holland, MN and later moved to Kasson, MN where he graduated. In 1965 he enlisted in the Marine Corp and served his country during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968. Terry worked for Suburban Propane in Sanford, FL and Jeffersontown, KY. He retired after 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Craig Johnson and Curtis Johnson.

He married Cindy (Nelson) on February 14, 1990 and together they made their home in Taylorsville.
Terry is survived by his wife, Cindy, and daughter, Marilee, daughter Shawna Allegro and son Terrence Johnson, Jr. (Joanna), 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Ronald (Blanche) Johnson, New Smyrna, FL, sister, Deanne (Robert) Schultz, Rochester, MN and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Craig Johnson and Curtis Johnson.

A celebration of Mr. Johnson's life will be 11am Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Risen Lord Lutheran Church 5138 Taylorsville Rd, Taylorsville, KY 40071. Burial with military honors will follow at 2:30pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY 40160, with guests arriving at the Administration Building at 2:15pm.
