Teresa Main

Teresa Main, 49, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. Teresa was loving, caring, strong, and never met a stranger. She was a devoted to friend to everyone she encountered. Teresa was a true animal lover. She enjoyed listening to music, especially, the Foo Fighters. Most importantly, Teresa was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, wife and Mimi. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 4, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Brenda (Carol) Richardson. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edwin and Zelda Richardson and William and Carrie Kinder.

Teresa is survived by her adoring husband, Dennis Main; parents, Kenneth and Brenda Richardson; son, Christopher (Ashlee) Richardson; daughters, Eva Richardson, Carrie Jones; step-daughter, Miranda (Cody) Bush; brother, Edwin Richardson; grandchildren, Brayden, Cayden, Danielle Raine, Dominic, Skylar, Sophia, and Gracelynn; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Teresa's memory be made to the James Brown Cancer Center.
