Teresa Ruth (Babbage) Hyatt

Teresa Ruth (Babbage) Hyatt, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. Teresa had a huge heart and loved people. She was the fashionista of her family and was a friend of Bill W. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and always had a smile on her face. She had a kind soul and took pride in helping anyone in need. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on December 27, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Stanley and Margaret (Johnson) Babbage. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Smith; father, Stanley Babbage; sister, Sharon Jones; and brother, Stanley K. Babbage.

Teresa is survived by her loving family, brother, Dudley (Nancy) Young; brother, Dave Babbage; sister, Candace Green; many nieces and nephews whom she treasured; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
