Teresa Allen

Teresa Allen, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Teresa retired as a Hosparus nurse after 20 plus years of service. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was an avid UK fan but her greatest joy was watching her grandsons play basketball. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on October 28, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Richard and Ocia Elmore. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen; sisters, Pam Elmore, Deborah Watts and brother, Richard "Buddy" Elmore.

Teresa is survived by her loving sons, Jason (Alicia) Allen and Matt (Heather) Allen; sisters, Vivian (Mike) Crank and Kim (Leslie) Mcandless; grandsons, Jalyn Allen, Brady Allen and Aiden Allen; granddaughter, Madison Eskridge and great-granddaughter, Riley Jo Eskridge.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Teresa's funeral service will be at 6:30 pm on Monday, at the funeral home.
