March 5, 1943 — April 3, 2014
McQueen, Teddy C. 71, of Elizabeth,IN, and native of Louisville,KY, passed away Thursday April 3, 2014. Army veteran (Vietnam), Ted mastered several careers including Head Set Design Technician for the Louisville Ballet for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lillian and Stanley McQueen and a sister Mary Kathleen McQueen.
Teddy is survived by his wife Sara, daughters Amanda Bifone (Peter) and Mary Roberts Hess(Dakota); two grandsons Peter Jr. and Jacob, and a granddaughter Molly Violet Leon Hess born March 21, 2014; brothers Edwin McQueen(Phyllis), S.Burton McQueen(Barbara) and sister Martha McQueen; several nieces and nephews; all his close friends particularly those in Elizabeth,IN, area.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday April 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville,KY with visitation beginning before service from 1-3pm.
Memorial donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
A special thanks to the entire family of caregivers at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
