Tearl Decker
November 9, 1927 — February 7, 2014
Tearl Decker, 86 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away February 7, 2014. He was a member of Annetta United Baptist Church and retired from Engelhard Chemical, which is now known as BASF. He was preceded in death by his son Gale Decker; his parents, LaVina McGrew Decker and Stoy Decker; his brothers, Cortland Decker, James Thomas Decker, and his sisters Delma Lois Decker, Margie Farris, Norma Jean Decker, and Arabell Walton.
Tearl is survived by his loving wife Edna Louise Decker; his brother, Kermit Decker; his sister, Jeanette Newton; four daughters, Evelyn Adams (her husband Jerry), Veeta Mivelaz, Julie Clark (her husband David),Veronica Higbee; two sons, Carson (his wife Linda), and Dane Decker; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 7 PM on Monday, February 10, 2014 and 10-1:00 pm Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Dr. Louisville, KY 40243
Funeral service will be at 1 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the services
