Tammy Barnett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tamara "Tammy" Barnett, aged 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, who departed from this world on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Tammy was a radiant soul, a devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, proud granny, precious aunt, and a dear friend to many. Her boundless love and generosity knew no limits; she had a remarkable ability to light up every space she entered with her warm smile and infectious laughter. In the moments she cherished most, Tammy found joy in coloring, engaging in spirited games of poker, and immersing herself in the electrifying atmosphere of rock music festivals. However, it was her family, particularly her grandchildren, who held the greatest place in her heart. Those who were blessed to know her understand the impact she had on their lives and will feel her loss deeply.

Born on July 18, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was a beloved daughter to Edward and Regina (Evans) Marshall. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Ellsworth Marshall, III, and her dear grandmother, Georgia Haddix, along with other cherished family members.

Tammy leaves behind her loving mother, Regina Gaye Marshall; her daughters, Brandi (Geremy) Arington and DeAnna Carr; her sons, Jeramy Barnett and Patrick Roby; her brothers, Kenneth Golden, Jr., Daniel Marshall, and Joe Marshall; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Jazmine, Dylan, Jordan, Devyn, and Jayde. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. A Funeral Service to celebrate Tammy's life will follow at 6:00 pm at the same venue.

In honor of Tammy's memory, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to The American Heart Association, reflecting her spirit of love and care for others.
