Tamara L. "Tammy" (Conway) Williams, 45 of Louisville, transitioned unexpectedly Wednesday, May 30, 2018 surrounded by her family at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born January 7,1973, in Sandusky, OH to Charles Conway and Etricha D. Conway. Tammy graduated from Sandusky High School in 1991 and attended Kent State University, she later attended Spalding University and Galen College of Nursing. She married her love Steward Williams Jr. on May 16, 1997.
In 1998 they moved to Louisville, Kentucky. At the time of her passing she was employed as a Certified Medication Technician with the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville. In her spare time, she loved photography, crafts, and most of all caring for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steward; their children, ShaQuille Keys, TiCorion Williams and Coricia Williams of Louisville, KY, Steward Kishawn Williams, III, of Battle Creek, MI, Brianna Kirkwood- Williams, Brielle Kirkwood-Williams, of Sandusky, Ohio, and Nathaniel Cruz, of Castalia, OH; her mother Etricha Conway, of Sandusky, OH; father Charles Conway, of Atlanta, GA, and brother, Charles Conway Jr. of Atlana, GA.; two grandsons, Kane Williams, of Battle Creek, MI and Brylen Hampton, of Sandusky, OH; paternal grandmother, Catheree Conway, of Sandusky, OH and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and a special aunt and uncle.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 7th from 2 to 8 pm at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY) and service will be Friday, June 8th at 11 am at Remnant Church of God in Christ (3309 E. Indian Trail, Louisville, KY) Superintendent Ross Johnson will be in charge of service. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions East Chapel is handling arrangements. There will be a reflection of her life held on June 16th at Mount Zion Church of God in Christ (1814 Second Street, Sandusky, OH) at 5 pm.
Tammy's infectious laugh, smile and love for people will be missed by all who knew her!
