Taffney Ann Brashers

Taffney Ann Brashers, age 51 of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was married to the love of her life of 20 years, Mark Brashers who passed away in 2007. Taffney was a loving and protective mother who dedicated her life to taking care of her children. She was a daughter, sister and friend to many. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics in 1997. She was employed at Masonic Home as a clinical manager. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour, was a woman of faith, and attended Burnett Avenue Baptist Church. She attended Bible study at Southeast Christian Church and Bible Study Fellowship. She loved Chicago Stepping and had an infectious sense of humor. She loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband Mark, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Talise Brashers; and her father, Charles Rancifer.

Taffney is survived by her loving children, Christian Brashers and Taris Brashers; her mother, Doris Rancifer; her brother, Charles Rancifer, Jr. (Kristen); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Lois Brashers; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10am -12pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church 6800 S. Hurstbourne Parkway Louisville, KY 40291, with a celebration of Taffney's life to follow at 12pm.

There will also be a visitation from 10:30am – 12 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home, 527 Douglas Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI, with a celebration of Taffney's life there at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South 3941 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
