Sylvia Magdalene (Hatfield) Saling, 75, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on April 27, 2014. She enjoyed making quilts and sewing.
Sylvia was born on March 2, 1939 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Isaac and Dottie (Abbott) Hatfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Everett Neal; grandchildren, John R. and Autumn Joy Burkardt, and 19 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Isaac D. Neal Sr. (Marlyce); grandchildren, Rhiannon Burkardt-Fisher, Isaac Neal Jr.; great granddaughter, Destiny Fisher.
Following Sylvia's wishes, cremation was chosen and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) entrusted in her care.
