Sylvia Norwood, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 Derby weekend her favorite time of the year.
Preceded in death by her Mother, Lucy Guinn Peterson; and her brother, Orville Gilpin.
She is survived by her Daughter, Debbie and Son-in-law Jim Mattingly.
She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kentucky after 33 years.
Cremation was chosen. There will be a gathering at a later date to celebrate Sylvia.
A special thanks to all the Masonic Home caregivers for all your love and support over the last 5 years, and also to Baptist Health Palliative Care Unit.
