Suzannah "Sue" Triplett, 82, of Shelbyville KY, died Monday May 23, 2022.
Suzannah was born on April 4, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Claude and Julia (Todd) Triplett. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Joseph Triplett, Howard Triplett, Vance Triplett, Logan Triplett, Hartzell Wade Triplett, Maude Baynard, Mary Singleton, Virginia Thomas Burk and Julia Boykin.
Suzannah is survived by her loving son, Lionel Triplett (Kentucky), sisters Evelyn Triplett, Yvonne Triplett (Louisville KY), brothers George Triplett (Arizona), Melvin Lee Triplett, three grandchildren Jordan Lionel Triplett, Nicholas Tyrone Triplett of Shelbyville KY, and Cheyenne Gabrielle Triplett Timberlake (Lance) of Louisville KY and eight great-grandchildren.
Suzannah grew up on the farm in Finchville, KY. She graduated from Lincoln Institute and then moved to Madison, TN, where she worked with the public school system as a teacher's assistant. Sue loved children. Suzannah enjoyed growing and taking care of her plants. Suzannah also enjoyed being the life of the party, a very fun loving person I think getting dressed up was her favorite part, always dressing to impress.
Mostly, she enjoyed her family and friends.
Suzannah acquired several special friends over her years in Madison TN, Marcus and Tonya Chavez and their two sons loved Suzannah as part of the family. Patricia, Michelle,
A Memorial Service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1st Harmony Worship Center 2037 Midland Trail Shelbyville KY 40065 with a reception to follow services at the church.
