Susan Turner Weibel

Susan Turner Weibel, age 62 of Bagdad, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Susan, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, artist, and farmer, was born on June 11, 1961, in Buffalo, New York. She worked as a dental hygienist before retiring with her husband John to raise chickens, turkeys, dogs, pigs, ducks, geese and produce on their farm, 'Bramble and Birds', in Bagdad. Susan and John are a part of the Franklin County, Eastwood Village, and Shelby County Farmer's Market and sell goods from their farm. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Eldred John Turner; her mother, Marie Jean Turner; and her sister Bonnie Turner.

Susan is survived by her husband, John Weibel; her two children, Otto Joel Payne and Nicolette Payne; her stepson, John Alexandar Patterson; her sister, Lynn Boshart (John);, her nieces, Jennifer Boshart and Jeanie (Chris) Aratari; nephew, Jeb Boshart; her aunt, Lois Gibson; cousins, Robin Gibson and Pam McDonald; and her two grandchildren, John Patterson (Gabe) and Elijah Willey; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:30pm until time of service at 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.

Memorials in Susan's memory may be made to Beacon House and/or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
