Susan Doerting Tommie

Susan "Susie" Doerting Tommie, age 67 of Glasgow, Kentucky formerly of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023. Susie graduated from Butler High School class of 1974. She was the former owner of River City Glass and Mirror Company and a member of Glenview Christian Church in Glasgow, Kentucky. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. and Betty Rowe Doerting; and her four-legged children, Roxie and Annie.

Susie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Sam; children, Jessie Tommie and Jennifer Austin (Jerimy); grandchildren, Grace and Seth; mother-in-law, Dolores Tommie; sisters, Cheryl Doerting Murphy and Peggy Skaggs (Marvin); her four-legged companion, Callie; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 6pm on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and on Monday, September 25th starting at 9:30am until the celebration of Susie's life at 11am at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
