Susan Rae (Wright) Perry Evans

Susan Rae (Wright) Perry Evans, 54, of New Albany, Indiana, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday afternoon, November 2, 2018, surrounded by family. She had many interests that included collecting elephants, singing, playing the piano, camping, and games on her computer. What Susan enjoyed most of all was serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Susan loved spending time with her family and cooking meals for them made with her special ingredient, love.

She was born on April 15, 1964, in Torrance, California. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Perry; and mother, Alta Mae (Wright) Malone.

Susan is survived by her children, Dwayne Perry (Brandi), Lisa Howard (Josh), Elijah Akkerman (Jessica), and Matthew Akkerman; parents, William and Sue Wright; siblings, Angela Sanders, Tony Malone, John Malone, Martin Malone (April), Joyce Ann Morris (Harold), and Luke Wright (Nena); grandchildren, Kenneth Perry, Amaya Perry, and Felicity Howard; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was chosen following Susan's wishes and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Lamb of God Healing Ministries (8206 Old Highway 60, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172).
