Susan Diane Mahoney

Susan Diane Mahoney, aged 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2024. A cherished mother, sister, and grandmother, Susan was known for her free spirit and the warmth she brought to many lives. Her love for collecting various treasures and her enjoyment of sitting outdoors while listening to music were reflections of her vibrant personality. Susan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on May 25, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Chester and Virginia (Hofelich) Mahoney. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Mahoney; her father, Chester Mahoney, Jr.; and her brother, Willie Mahoney.

She is survived by her devoted family, including her daughter, Deanna Mahoney; her son, Cheston (Nikki) Mahoney; her beloved grandchildren, Teagan and Finley Mahoney; her siblings, Wayne (Sharon) Mahoney, Jerry (Kathi) Mahoney, Sharon (Lee) Savage, and David (Sam) Gabbert; her beloved fur babies, Opie and Andy; along with countless nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her loving memory.
