Susan Lynn Taylor

Susan Lynn Seagraves Taylor, 67, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East. Susan was a native of Louisville and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a devoted wife and amazing mother, a member of Crestwood Baptist Church, and was active with many organizations, including Crestwood Civic Club and bridge club. Susan was a faithful Christian, loved the Lord with all of her sweet heart and cherished the fellowship of her Sunday school class.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, John Kean and Lenora Marie Seagraves.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, John, her four children, Anne-Marie Roth (Kevin), Matt (Monica), Mark (Bridget) and Brad, her seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Caroline, Madeline and Nicholas Roth, and Kean, Natalie and Lauren Taylor, as well as a very special aunt, Marie Potter.

Visitation will be on Sunday, 1 to 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday with visitation after 10 am at Crestwood Baptist Church, 6400 Sweet Bay Drive, Crestwood, KY, with a private burial to follow at Cave Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Crestwood Baptist Church or Hosparus.
