Susan Ann Connors, 61, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday morning, September 23, 2016. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Susan enjoyed reading and history and was an avid animal lover.
She was born on May 20, 1955, in Munich, Germany, to the late Raymond Connors and Edna (Howard) Cunningham. Susan was also preceded in death by her brother, William "Billy" Connors.
Susan is survived by her sisters, June Flanders (Bill) and Julia Murphy (Danny); 6 nieces and nephews; 8 great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved cat, Chloe.
Cremation was chosen following Susan's wishes, and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (8407 County Line Road, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Susan will be laid to rest privately.
