Sunila Komaravalli

Sunila Komaravalli, age 53, slept in the Lord on July 1, 2023. Sunila earned her Ph.D. in Entomology at the University of Kentucky. After that she moved to Louisville KY, where she started a family and was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Raveena and Riya. She worked for UPS for 21 years in Information Technology followed by working at Paychex for a little over a year. She was known for her meticulous and hard work.

Raveena, her loving daughter, shares the following words about her mom, "She was the strongest of us all. She was smart, intelligent, and hardworking, but most of all she was kind. She was of the highest caliber, especially as a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was a great success, but more than that, she was love. And love never dies. Her love is her legacy, and may it grow fruitfully in those lucky enough to have been loved by her. She watches over me from afar, and she watches over me in my heart."

Sunila is survived by her husband Sunil, daughter Raveena and mother Sarala. Sunila joins her younger daughter Riya in Heaven.

Services were private and Sunila was laid to rest at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made in Sunila's memory to the World Wildlife Fund.
