Sue Ellen Stamper

Sue Ellen Stamper, age 64 of Crestwood, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Crestwood Congregation, attended Daymar College earning a degree in medical coding and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hellen Ooten Sutherland.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Ray Stamper, Sr.; sons, Ray Stamper, Jr. and Joseph Stamper; grandchildren, Jonathan, Nathan and Ashley; and sister, Mary McDowell. She also leaves to cherish her memory 5 great-grandchildren, Gabbi, Darrious, Phoebie, Dontay and Landin, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Sue's life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3pm – 8pm, and after 9:30 am on Friday until time of service.
