Sue Carol (Atchley) Weatherholt, 78, of New Albany , Indiana, was called home on Saturday , January 24, 2015.
She was born on September 21, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jess Sr. and Ina Atchley. Sue was a supervisor for The New Albany Tribune for 18 years and was a member at The Parkway Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald Lee Weatherholt
She is survived by her children, Evelyn Denise Beard(Stewart), Monica Sue Nein(Monte), Dawn Michelle Meyer(Willie), siblings, Jess Atchley Jr., Michael Atchley, Margie Staser, Jeanie Evans, 4 grandchildren, Jason Beard, David Beard, Shawn Weatherholt, Nikki Harden, 9 great-grandchildren, Christopher Uresti, Shelbi Beard, Dawson Beard, Brittany Harden, Ryan Weatherholt, Kayleigh Miller, Braelynn Harden, Kayden Weatherholt and Ambra Beard.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1 PM.
