Stuart Rogge

Stuart Rogge, 64, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

He was born on October 28, 1959 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Don Rogge and Carolyn Conrad Rogge. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steven Rogge.

Stu is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Pam Rogge; daughter, Tara Stepro (Chris); daughter, Kelsie Moore (DJ); siblings, Sheldon Rogge (Pamela Ullman), Suzanne Nevins (Scott), and Scott Rogge; grandchildren, Trey Moore, Kaeleigh Stepro, Harper Moore, Emily Stepro, and Amelia Moore.

If you knew Stu, you knew he was calm, kind, gentle, loving and the most patient person you've ever met. As the protector of the family, his imprint will remain forever in our lives and in our hearts. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. It has been said that Stu was a true "man's man." Since his early teen years, Stu enjoyed working on cars, but as he grew older, it became a passion he shared with his wife. He often enjoyed working in the garage until Pam told him it was time to come inside. He also had a creative vision for home renovations as he loved making his bride's dreams come true.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Stu's wishes.
