Steven Ray Webb, Sr.

Steven "Cowboy" Ray Webb, Sr., age 73, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN, with his wife by his side. He was born on October 15, 1949 in Madison, Indiana to the late Hazelip and Genevieve Webb. Steven was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a laborer for the Laborers International Union, was a professional horse trainer and farrier and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Steve enjoyed an abundant life including fishing and hunting, enjoying the great outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and his true passion of horseback riding.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas and Michael Webb.

Steven is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kay (Brooks) Webb of Falls of Rough, KY; his children, Steven Ray Webb, Jr. (Dayla), Catina Newton (Bobby), and Chris Webb; his step-children, Michael Stiles (Amy), Reagen Tan (James), Mandy Campbell (Craig); grandchildren, Victoria (Charlie), Dylan, Steven III, Kinnidi, Chris, Peyton and Jace; and great-grandchildren, Lana and Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the American Legion Post #335 (1199 Basham Dr, Charlestown, IN 47111).
