October 9, 1959 — May 10, 2012
Mr. Steven Mathias Schneider, age 52, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and chose to worship at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, "Kayo" and Betty Dever Schneider, and his sister, Kim Wellinghurst.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Candice Schneider-Polio (Steven) and Olivia Schneider; grandchildren, Anthony Kayo and Kennedy Polio; sister, Connie Schilffarth; brothers, Jack and Mike Schneider; and his long-time companion Carole Goff.
Mass of celebration will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8:00 p.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with prayers at 4:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul charities.
