Steven Dale Poore, 62, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He was a United States Army veteran. Steve enjoyed listening to music, going for drives and socializing with his friends.
He was born on February 21, 1961 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Orel and Elizabeth (Sinex) Poore. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Tonia Poore. He is survived by his brother, Jeff Poore; as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.
Steve's wish was to be cremated and a gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service taking place at 6:00 p.m.
Contributions in Steve's memory may be made to his family in care of the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
