Steven Wayne Perdue, Sr.

Steven Wayne Perdue, Sr., 73, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born on February 21, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Irvin and Dorothy (Eves) Perdue. He married Helen M. Raymond in 1970 in Manheim, Germany, while serving in the United States Army. Steve loved his faith, family, and woodworking.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Phil.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Helen Perdue; sons, Steven (Wendy) Perdue, Jr., Timothy (Joleen) Perdue, Gregory (Kristen) Perdue, and Benjamin (Jill) Perdue; grandchildren, Michaela, Madison, Braxton, Bella, Payton, Presley, and Chandler; and siblings, Mike (Debbie), Pat, Mark (Marti), and Kathy.
Cremation was chosen following Steve's wishes, and no services will be held at this time. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) was entrusted with his care.
