Steven Michael Kirby Jr., 23, of Louisville, passed away suddenly December 3, 2013. He was born October 13, 1990 in Antioch, CA to Melinda and Steven Kirby Sr.
Steven enjoyed Incarnation Church softball and volleyball programs, since he was five years old. He was an aspiring mechanic and enjoyed working on his 1991 Nissan 240SX. He attended Jefferson County Technical College, working on a mechanical engineering degree. Steven worked in the restaurant industry and spent his free time with family and friends.
Steven is preceded in death by his grandparents: Papa and Nana Kirby and great-grandparents: Mom and Pop Sale; and great-aunts Lulu Martin and Neta Sale.
Steven is survived by his mother Melinda Kirby and his father Steven Sr. (Kim); sister Amanda and brother Michael (Morgan Riggs); grandfather Robert Hayden and grandmother Judy Hayden; uncles: David, Chuck,David and Caesar; aunts: Lori, Patti, Vicki, and Nicole; cousins: Cierra, Jade, James, and Jordan; longtime friend Rick Hennemann and his sons Ricky, Tony, Michael, and Perry; Kim, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will be held from 11:00am until time of service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
