Steven Wayne Johnson

Steven Wayne Johnson, 54, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle and was an avid IU fan and gun collector. Steve was a Bio-Medical Engineer for Baptist Health Floyd and had worked there for over 30 years. He loved many things but always put the Lord first.

He was born on February 11, 1964, in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Johnson.

Steve is survived by his wife, Betty (Adams) Johnson; children, Toni Roberts (Tim) and Shane Johnson; mother, Barbara Johnson; sister, Kimberly Holobaugh (David); grandchildren, "Papaw's Girl" Madison and Ashton; niece, Lindsay Lanham (David); and nephew, David Holobaugh IV.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. at the church. His Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Borden Church of Christ (426 West Water Street, Borden) with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Borden.
