He was a commercial flooring salesman for Sam Kinnaird Flooring and a friend of Hurstbourne Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Spicer and aunt and uncle Ann and Richard Helm.
Memorial service 4 PM Thursday at Hurstbourne Christian Church 601 Nottingham Parkway.
