Steven Robert Hubbard

Steven Robert Hubbard, 35, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. He graduated from New Albany High School in 2007, where he played on the baseball and football teams. Steven enjoyed working alongside of his father and was also the owner of Hubbard Handyman Services.

Steven loved his family more than anything in the world, especially his children and nephews. He was proud to introduce them to and help coach them in baseball. Steven was outgoing and had a great sense of humor.

He was born on November 24, 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jeff and Regina (Kirkman) Hubbard. Along with his parents, Steven is survived by his children, Kenslie Grace & Maxton Cade Hubbard; siblings, John Garner, Sarah Hubbard; nephews, Nathan Hubbard, Maddox Decker; girlfriend, Kaitlin Wenning; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laverne Crafton, Erman Kirkman, Weldy and Doris Hubbard.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
