Steven Lea Grassman

Steven Grassman, age 75 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Steve was a 1966 graduate of Durrett High School. He was a retired Journeyman electrician with General Electric for 35 years. Steve was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and a faithful member of Maryville Baptist Church. He and his wife Carroll Hulse Grassman married on September 2, 1983. He loved being a mechanic, going to auctions, and was a collector of many things. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, James Patrick Grassman and Audrey Henderson Grassman; and his sister, Julie Ann Foster.

In addition to his wife Carroll, Steve is survived by his children, Sharon Seelye, Karen Fussell (Robert), James Grassman (Amy), Brian Burgett (Melonie), Jennifer Story (Mike), Leslie Burgett and Amanda Burgett; siblings, Timothy Grassman, Sandra Kelly, Wanda Thompson, Andrew Grassman and Annette Grassman (Bennie); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 5:30pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A family sharing will start at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
