It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven H. Clark, aged 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, who departed this world on October 29, 2024.

Steven was a devoted father, cherished brother, beloved grandpa, and steadfast friend. A gifted writer, he shared his passion for basketball through his published works, enchanting readers with his insights and stories. His enthusiasm for the Boston Celtics and the Red Sox reflected his deep-rooted love for sports, serving as a backdrop to many cherished moments.

In his leisure time, Steven found joy in reading, embracing knowledge and adventure through the written word. He held a special affinity for nature, often seen rescuing turtles, including his dear friend, a snapping turtle named Sheldon. His compassionate spirit and nurturing nature will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Born on March 8, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, Steven was the son of Harold and Martha (Whitehouse) Clark. He is reunited in spirit with his beloved grandson, Noah Meredith, who preceded him in death.

Steven’s legacy lives on through his loving daughter, Martha (Charles) Butler; his son, Darrell Clark; his granddaughters, Christina (Casey) Cobb, Sydney Meredith, and Anna Maria Meredith; as well as his great-granddaughter, Eleanor Cobb, and great-grandson, Luka Meredith. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, extended family, and friends who cherished him dearly.
