Steven "Steve" William Adrio

Steven "Steve" William Adrio, 78, departed from this life to the next one on September 19, 2024 at his home in Jeffersontown, KY. He was the son of the late Frank and Fleda (Peters) Adrio. He is also preceded in death by his step-son, Jason Baker, nephew, Cole Adrio and sister, Diane Marie Adrio. 

He was a Navy Seebee, serving in Vietnam where he received a Vietnam Service Metal, a National Defense Service Metal, a Presidential Unit Citation, a Bronze Star and several meritorious unit commendations. He was an iron worker, a member of the IW Local Union #70 and was the owner of J-Town Gun Service, where he made at least 28 long guns. He loved fishing, hunting and trapping. 

Steven is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois Baker Adrio, step-son, Byron Baker of El Mirage, AZ, brothers, Glenn Adrio of Louisville, KY and Bill Adrio of Pendleton, KY, sisters, Gail (Bill) Vetter of Jeffersontown, KY and Karen (Mike) Sauerheber of Englewood, FL and many nieces and nephews. 

Per Steven's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
