Stephen Wayne Smith

Stephen (Steve) Wayne Smith, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. He was born on February 9, 1948, in Milan, Tennessee, to Madelyn Webb Smith and Joe Smith. Steve was raised in Martin, Tennessee, where he excelled in sports. He spent most of his adult life in the automobile business and was a lifelong fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

Steve is survived by his son, Brad Smith; four grandsons, Tory, Tyler, Jason and Josh; and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Pamela Price, as well as loving cousins and stepchildren.Steve's wish was to be cremated. 

A private gathering and short goodbye will be held on Thursday, December 19, at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel.
