Kemper, Stephen Michael Sr., 68, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Born in Louisville on September 1, 1954, he was a son of Velma Martin Kemper and the late Robert Lee Kemper.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Kelly Rogers (Carl) and Stephen Kemper, Jr. (Jamie); grandchildren, Kelsey Rae Kemper, Trenton Wade Smith (Jenna), Ashton 'Cooper' Rogers, Jacob Majors, Jordan Brown (Madison), Allison Sierra Belle Kemper, Stephen Michael Kemper, III, Johnny Richmond and Sarah Richmond, and Ashton and Kody; his great-grandchildren, Kashton Kemper and Kreedon Kemper; his siblings, Edmond Kemper (Monica), Robert Kemper, Mary Susanne Terrell (Gary), and Thomas Kemper; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). A celebration of Stephen's life will follow at 4:00 PM.
