Stephen Thomas Carpenter, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 18, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Jessie Thomas Carpenter and Peggy Laverne Carpenter.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Ruby Darlene Carpenter; daughter, Amber Nicole (Randy) Gore; grandson, Caynan Thomas Gore; brother, Mark Leslie (Sharon) Carpenter, aunts, Dorothy Renfro and Betty Heistand and a host of other family members and friends.
A celebration of Stephen's life will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1pm. A visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
