Stephen Allan Blair, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
He was born on November 9, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Raymond "Ray" and Jane (Sandmeyer) Blair. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jan Blair, brother, Richard Blair, and his cousins, Sandra Batts and Janet Davis.
Steve proudly served our country while enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean war and is a retired Chevrolet Auto Mechanic. Steve was a loving and devoted husband who absolutely adored his wife Jan. Steve and Jan spent their years loving their fur babies; Snuggles and Snooper. While he was able, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle as well as repairing and rebuilding clocks and small engines.
Steve is survived by his precious companion, Snooper and his brother, David (Cheryl) Blair, aunt, Betty Minter, cousins, Susan (Eric) Chamberlain, Terri L. (Scott) Young and several other beloved cousins, along with dearly loved friends and neighbors that will miss him very much.
Steve will be laid to rest privately next to his loving wife, Jan at Resthaven Memorial Park.
The family requests that contributions in Steve's memory be made to the KY Humane Society.
