Stephen A. Kincaid, 58, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Elizabeth where he also sang in the group called Hope. Steve's passion was his mission work. He had a great sense of humor and could definitely be described as a big kid at heart.
He was born on January 22, 1955 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to the late Henry L. and Thelma M. (Nessler) Kincaid. He is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, Joy (Morris) Kincaid; children, Stephanie Phipps (Joey), Daniel Kincaid (Jessie), Sarah Kincaid (Daniel); sister, Sheila Hardebeck (Eldon); and granddaughter, Aubrey Kincaid.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 1 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday from 1 PM to 3 PM. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 3 PM at the funeral home with private burial to follow at Evans Landing Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church (8030 Baptist Church Road SE, Elizabeth, IN 47117).
