Stella Ann (Adams) Biesel

Stella Ann (Adams) Biesel, 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She retired from Colgate-Palmolive. Stella enjoyed traveling and looked forward to spending her winters in Indian Shores, Florida. She fiercely loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing card games with her friends. Stella was also an avid reader, liked to go shopping or watch a good movie.

She was born on July 20, 1947 to William and Cora (Krush) Adams. Along with her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband, John Biesel.

Stella is survived by her daughters, Leah Robb (Pat), Marna Peay (John); and grandchildren, Zarek Rigdon, Brenn and Laken Peay.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stella's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
