Stanley "Junie" Hatfield Jr. age 89 went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday September 9 2013. He was a United States Airforce Veteran of WWII and Korean War as an Aviation mechanic and retired from American Standard after 38 years. Stanley was an avid golfer and car enthusiast. He enjoyed hosting Derby parties and having yard sales.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Sr. and Gladys Hatfield, his son Bruce, his first wife Mary Ellen, sister Reba, brother William "Shorty",and his second wife Mabel.
He is survived by his children; Stan(Darlene)Hatfield, Judith Ann(Adrian)Campos, Darrell Lee Hatfield, Donna(Bill)Wilkins, Shirley(Roger)Cox. Seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren and ten great great-grandchildren. Two sisters; Louise Emberson and Ethel Mae Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday September 12, 2013 from 2-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive , Louisville,Ky 40243. Service will be Friday September 13, 2013 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
