Stanette "Susie" Stull, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2025. She is remembered for her vibrant love of crafting, her affinity for classic films on TMC, and her enjoyment of reality shows. Stanette was particularly passionate about UK basketball, rarely missing a game, which brought her much joy throughout her life. In her youth, she volunteered as a candy striper at Hazelwood Hospital, and she dedicated many years to her role as a custodian with Jefferson County Public Schools before retiring.
Stanette was born on April 20, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Stanley and Mary (Heath) Hoskins. She is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Hoskins, Jr., and her son, Keith Daniel Stull, Jr.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Mary Katherine Heath-Hoskins; her children, Christopher Stull, Travis Stull, and Michelle Stull; her beloved grandchildren, Cody Corum, Jacob Stull, Summer Stull, and Brittney Morris; her siblings, Kathy White, Sandra Shaw, and Michael (Sheila) Hoskins; and her ex-husband, Keith Stull, Sr. Stanette leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 PM, also at the chapel, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
In honor of Stanette’s memory, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
