Sondra "Diane" Sangalli was born on April 9th,1936 in Louisville, Kentucky. She passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 19, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky at 86 years of age.
Diane graduated from Presentation Academy Class of 1954 and attended the University of Louisville and Sullivan University studying business administration. Diane and Louis married in 1959 at Saint Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Diane was devoted to her faith in Jesus Christ and to her family. She was very talented and creative. She had a beautiful singing voice and participated in the Louisville Iroquois Amphitheater, and she sang as a cantor at St. Margaret Mary Church and for many weddings. Diane was an accomplished seamstress, excellent cook, and decorator and she took delight in bringing people joy with her talents. She was a homemaker for many years and then worked in the family business Bluegrass Mushroom Farm and at Maryhurst as a receptionist. She is now resting in her heavenly home where we will join her one day.
Diane is survived by the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Louis Sangalli; her three children, Terry Richman (Bob), Steve Sangalli (Sherry), and Jeff Sangalli (Jenny); 7 grandchildren, Michael Evans (Amanda), Olivia Ziegler (Chris), Chris Evans (Beth), Natalie Sangalli, Brooke Sangalli, Jacob Sangalli, and Joshua Sangalli; 3 great grandchildren, Matthew Wegenast, Cassidy Evans, and Kaylee Evans; and sister, Carol Mansfield Roche (Mark); and a host of relatives and friends.
Diane's memorial service will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40222 on Saturday, August 6th with visitation from 9:30-10:45am, followed by a mass starting at 11am,
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul".
